Chapter 16

Hank's family finally left, and Hank was alone to remorse. He didn't know what he could've done to save his own brother's life. He did think of various plans, but it all ended with him feeling hopeless. He and Hoy knew Grandmaster was too tough for them. They have seen it before, but now it only showed how much stronger it was.

Hank was guilty and felt as though this was the end of his journey. It was all up to Floyd to stop the evil army. If only Hank could do it as well, however Hank felt like he couldn't. He has never done anything without the help of his brother. Now that he's gone, what could he even do? It would end up killing him and risk ending everything.

He felt hopeless and lost. He didn't want to take the risk. He needed Hoy to be here to help. He can't do this alone. He never had before, so why should this be any different. Even if his body recovers, it won't be the same. It never will be, and he knows it.

As Hank lied in bed sadly and sobbing. An unexpected visitor showed up to the room. It was none other than Bellhic, coming alone this time. Hank was slightly confused, he could've sworn Floyd would come with him. He looked up to Bellhic confused and slightly worried. "What's wrong?" Bellhic had an expression of worry on his face.

"My dear friend, I believe the Grandmaster has caught your great friend." Hank's eyes widened as he was left in complete shock. How? How could've this happened? Floyd being caught? How are they going to stop him now? "I'm sorry, there was nothing we could've done."

Hank managed to let out a question of curiosity, while still showing worry in his tone, "How did he get caught?"

"He was on a mission with the external military officer to take out any bases. However, he got a bit off course and proceeded into highly restricted territory."

Hank knew what this meant, Floyd tried to take a shot at it. Only to discover that his goal of defeating the Grandmaster wasn't so easy. Now, he was captured and they had nobody to come save him. Nobody, besides Hank himself. Though, he wasn't up to the courage of standing up. Instead, he sighed defeated and laid his head back. It was over, they have lost.

Bellhic sighed as well in disappointment, sitting in the chair beside the bed. "I really hoped we had him this time. That dang king of Robanians has been nothing but trouble for peace to happen." Then, Bellhic looked over to Hank in bed. Looking ahead in silence and completely still as his thoughts crowded his mind. "How are you holding up by the way? We really need you to help us."

"Why? I'm never fighting again. I have no chance out there." Hank started to move his left leg and arm successfully. Though, Hank's expression wasn't entirely enthusiastic about it. He sighed in sadness as it only reminded him more about Hoy. His lack of presence made Hank feel only more guilty. "I failed Hoy's safety, and now I'm left without him to help me. I can't do this alone Bellhic. I'm not good enough to help you guys."

Bellhic listened closely to Hank, looking down to the bed. Then, he met eyes with Hank as he managed to grow a slight smile. "But you can Hank, you just have to believe in your own abilities."

"This is the first time I'm alone in this. I never stood up or fought creatures by myself." Bellhic didn't respond for a bit as he listened to him. Then, I started to think of a plausible thing to say to cheer up Hank. "I feel… lonely in all of this."

Bellhic was stuck, he knew what Hank was feeling. Though, he couldn't find the right words. That's when he thought of a great thing to tell Hank. Something that will completely change everything that Hank is thinking of.

"Hey buddy, I have something to tell you that I think you'd really find inspiring." Hank's expression lit up in curiosity, eyes meeting fully as Bellhic cleared his throat. "About three years ago, I knew these three dragons that were Siamese twins just like you. They each had their own goals and inspirations, but because they were attached together, they had to do their own things together. . ."

"However, one day. One of the twins got brain cancer and was entirely ill. The other two twins had to try keep the ill one from dying. Unfortunately. . . He didn't make it. The other two twins were devastated and were in the exact same position as you are."

"Okay? What's your point?" Hank was curious, but a bit impatient with the story. Only reminding him of the situation he was in again.

"Well, once they recovered from surgery and let their twin to rest. They decided to do something in honor of their lost twin." Hank raised an eyebrow as he listened. "You see, their twin always wanted to sing. Though, because of his twins constantly ruining it for him. He never got the chance to practice. When he passed away, the two twins decided to work together to sing in honor of their brother. They like to sync up their voices together to make a lovely choir."

Hank was surprised, he never heard of such a wholesome story like that before. "Wow, that sounds lovely." Bellhic could tell that the story helped open up Hank's eyes a little. "What happened to them?"

"They became popular role models in our society. Both of them made impactful speeches that changed a lot of people." Bellhic turned and picked up a hologram tablet off the bedside table. Holding it in front of him as he tapped away on it for a few seconds. Then, he turned the table toward Hank to view. That's when Hank could see a two Siamese twins with long necks, connecting to a large body, colored blue and didn't have fur like most of the dragons he met before. Instead, the dragon was part of the scaled dragon species.

The picture was that of a news cover, the dragons were posing in a casual manner, with the title on the side saying, "Duo dragons beat top best choir." Hank was surprised by the news cover, it tempted Hank to take the tablet into his own hands. He was amazed, and inspired by the news cover. Hearing the two brothers help make their twin's dream not die along with him. It made Hank feel good inside.

"You see? I don't want you to give up along with Hoy. Just like you, he wants the Robanians defeated. If he saw you right now, I'm sure he'd be disappointed to know you're quitting." Hank handed back the hologram tablet to Bellhic. He was beginning to understand the meaning behind Bellhic's message. "So, what are you going to do? Continue laying in bed? Or. . . Do you want to take a stand and save people to make your brother proud?"

Hank fell to silence as he began to think to himself. He started to believe that what Bellhic was telling him, was right. He couldn't let his brother's goals go to waste. He had to help make them come true even if he wasn't here with him. He might've needed him his whole life. However, today was different and he now believed that he could do it.

Hank grew a small smile, "I think, I can do it." Bellhic's ears perked up in happiness to those words. Hank sat upwards in the bed, turning his body to the side and beginning to get out of bed. Bellhic was surprised to see this, getting slightly worried. "I'm going to need my axe and Hoy's nunchucks."

Watching Hank get out of bed, he attempted to push him back into bed. "Woah there, you're still recovering-." However, Hank stopped him by placing his hand onto his claw.

"It's okay, I can get up." Bellhic and Hank stared at each other, before Bellhic let Hank go and backed away. Hank stood on both of his feet onto the floor below. He nearly fell as he caught himself and tried to gain his balance. Then, once he was capable to stand. He attempted to walk along with Bellhic.

Bellhic watched closely, still a bit worried Hank would fall over at any second. Although, as Hank continued to walk forward. He started to feel good about it, and even began to get more control over his body's motion. Until eventually, he was no longer showing signs of struggle. Which made Bellhic feel relieved to see him moving with much more ease now.

"I'll go grab the axe and the nunchucks. Meet me at the runway." Hank nodded as he began to march toward the exit. Bellhic turned and started to make his way to where he put Hank's weapons. Which was in Bellhic's own office. He grabbed the axe and the nunchucks and then started to head to the runway.

When he met with Hank on the runway, he handed the weapons to Hank. "Alright, so what's the plan?" Bellhic asked.

"We are going to get Floyd out, and destroy those Robanians ships."

"But, those are battleships. It's too risky. Besides, it could cause a war to start. Are you really sure that's a good idea? We don't want a war."

"This may be the only way to destroy those spaceships. Floyd needs us, and I know you need him. Trust me, this will be worth it in the end."

"But a war..? I don't-."

"If it's a war they want, then they will get it. But not just with you guys, but with everyone else in the galaxy." Bellhic still felt unsure, but he decided to go along with the idea. Believing that Hank may have a point. It's a scary one, but what else can they do? They can't just wait for Floyd to free himself.

"Don't worry, if a war starts because of this. Then, we will make sure it's the last." Bellhic thought to himself for a second, before nodding his head.

"I'll contact Clabber then, and assemble the troops with him." Hank nods to him then grins.

"Thank you Bellhic."

"Let's hope you're right about this."
